GoldenStrad specializes in fine old, modern, and contemporary violins in the San Francisco Bay Area, working with players, families, and collectors across the region. Select instruments are available for trial and acquisition in our private Peninsula showroom (by appointment only), alongside thoughtful guidance at every stage of the violin journey.

My Story

My career began outside the violin world, but my passion for the instrument was impossible to contain. In the early days of the internet, I collected violin CDs whenever I could, captivated by the sound of Isaac Stern and his Panette del Gesù. In middle school, I sold my first violin — and I haven’t looked back. Since then, I’ve immersed myself in discovering, collecting, playing, and selling violins.
