Podwilk, Poland 2026

This violin by Pawel is stunning—dare I say, close to perfect.
At first glance, it’s one of the simplest instruments I’ve come across. But the longer you look, the more its refinement reveals itself. The proportions feel incredibly balanced, the workmanship meticulous and clean.
As I tilted it in the light, the flat arching—with what feels like just the right amount of scoop—hinted at what was to come.

And it delivered.
From the first note, the violin offers power, clarity, and resonance, with a quick, responsive feel under the bow. There’s a brilliance and edge to the sound that I find especially compelling.
It’s the kind of instrument that speaks easily—one that many players would immediately feel at home on.
Pawel’s work has received consistent recognition at established international competitions, including multiple gold medals—and that level of craftsmanship is evident in this instrument.
